The Kumari Brooch is an artistic interpretation of the face of Nepal’s Living Goddess, one of Kathmandu’s most enduring sacred traditions.

Chosen as a child, the Kumari is revered as a living embodiment of the goddess Taleju, carrying a tradition that has shaped the spiritual and cultural life of the Kathmandu Valley for centuries. Her distinctive eyes, ceremonial adornment, and powerful presence have become inseparable from the heritage of the old city.

Handmade in Nepal by local artisans, the brooch is crafted from panchadhatu, a traditional five metal alloy long associated with sacred objects and craftsmanship across Nepal. Its form draws from the recognisable features of the Kumari, transforming them into a piece that can be carried and worn.

For those who grew up knowing the Kumari, seeing her chariot move through Kathmandu, or hearing her stories from afar, this piece is more than an ornament.

A small piece of Kathmandu, made to be carried with you because true luxury lies in meaning, not noise.
